Prof Ajoy K Ray, Chairman

Currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of BESU, he is renowned for his efforts in Green Energy domain. He was insrumental in setting up Centre fo Excellence in Green Energy, BESU with assistance from MHRD. prior to his he was Head SMST & Senior Professor, Electrical Engineering IIT Kharagpur. He has been the advisor to various Govt. of India policy bodies. He is also India Chief, CII Industry-Academia Relationship Initiative. He currently heads Exergy as the Chairman, Board to Advisors

Dr. Alok Saboo (Ex Senior Advisor)

As a serial entrepreneur, Mr. Alok Saboo has ventured several successful enterprises. He is known for his visionary contribution in Industrial Process Optimization Technology.

• Education: B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur (1980) and Ph.D. from Wisconsin University Madison (1985)

• Work Experience: More than 24 years in several domains. Involved in Process optimization audit at Reliance, IOCL & HPCL refineries, power plants
• Comments: He is the pioneer and among the fore-fathers of PINCH technology which has have extreme relevance in energy efficiency in various heavy process industries

Mr. Rajat Sethi (Director, Solar Solutions)

With strong academic background, he consistently remained among the top Computer Scientists at IIT Kharagpur. He received various accolades for path breaking researches for B.Tech. & M.Tech. theses which lead to various international publications in IEEE. He has had strong professional experience during various stints in UK, Canada and the US. He specializes in various simulation models for Solar Power generation softwares.

• Work Experience: Internship at Corporate Sustainability Group of Schlumberger. He also co-founded KRANTI, a flagship project to bridge the digital divide across the rural landscape.

Mr. Tarun Kumar (Director, Energy Finance)

He is a widely recognized person for his academic achievements, social entrepreneurial ventures and knowledge of Environmental Finance and Renewable Energy Technology.

• Education: Education: B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kharagpur (2006) and PGDM from IIM Bangalore
• Core competencies: Financial Modeling, Quantitative Methods, Team Building, Sales
• Work Experience: Two year strong techno-managerial experience at ANSYS Fluent India, known for its leadership in the simulation industry. He was responsible for the development of TGRID, software designed to cater the needs of Power Sector
